You can see these tall mountains covered in thick forests right there as the road starts going up again toward the Indeevara Yoga Retreat. It feels kind of peaceful just looking at it. 

Once you get past the entrance and the reception area, the hill gets steeper quick. The path keeps climbing between these rows of cottages and villas, and there are flowers everywhere, plus leafy plants and some trees clustered around. I think the colours from the flowers make it look nicer.

Up ahead along the way, there’s space for indoor games and a spot for kids to play. The multi-cuisine restaurant is there too, and so is the pool, all right next to the path. It seems like they put those things in a convenient spot.

At the very end, you reach this exclusive standalone cottage. Then there’s a banqueting area, a boardroom, the Ayurvedic spa, and even a gymnasium waiting for guests. That part gets a bit spread out, I guess, but it covers what people might need.

Rooms

The rooms here at Indeevara Retreat kind of capture that old fashioned rustic feel of the place. You know, with the wooden furniture that’s nice looking, and the colours are all earthy, plus fabrics that seem natural and comfy.

Each one has this big king bed that’s comfortable. Then there’s the bathroom, private and all, with hot water and towels, toiletries too, so it’s not like you’re roughing it completely.

Stepping out, guests can just wander into the organic garden area. These sitting spots right in the middle of it, cozy ones where you could relax or read something, or maybe just sit there taking in the surroundings. It seems like that’s the idea, anyway, though the garden part might blend a bit with the rooms since it’s so close.

Day 1

Arrival at Cochin Airport and Transfer to the City Hotel in Cochin. Relax till noon and proceed for the seeing in Fort Cochin. Later overnight at the Hotel

Day 2

After early breakfast proceed to the Railway station to Calicut. On arrival transfer to Indeevara Retreat.
